Delhi (Arrival) – Agra – Chambal – Bharatpur – Ranthambore – Roopangarh – Ajmer Delhi (Departure)

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi, meeting on arrival and transfer to the Hotel for overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02 Delhi – Agra : 210 kms. 4 hours
Agra – Chambal : 45 kms. 1 hour driving time

Early morning transfer to the train station to board the train for Agra, .meeting on arrival and visit the fabled Taj Mahal and massive Agra Fort. Continue your drive, on arrival in Chambal Wildlife sanctuary, check-in at Hotel.

In the afternoon boat ride on the Chambal River for birding and wildlife viewing.

The Chambal wildlife sanctuary is fast gaining a reputation as one of the most reliable places to see the Indian Skimmer. In addition the Chambal is also home to threatened species such as Ghavials, Marsh Crocodiles, Gangetic Dolphins, Striped Hyenas and Wolves. Overnight at lodge.

Day 03: Chambal – Bharatpur : By Surface 110 kms. 2 hours
In the morning enjoy birding in Chambal, later depart by surface for Bharatpur. On arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Bharatpur / Keoladeo Ghana National Park
Full day birding in Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary. Keoladeo Sanctuary represent 64 families, 181 genera and 227 subspecies. Keioladeo bird sanctuary is home to a variety of reptiles including the Rock Pythons, Frogs, Toads, Water Snakes, Snails, Leeches, Turtles, Tortoises and more. Besides, you can spot a wide variety of wild animals including three types of wildcat- the Jungle cat, Leopard cat and Fishing cat-, Sambar, Chital, Blackbuck, Nilgai and wild boar among many others. Overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Bharatpur
Full day birding in Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary and Bund Baretha reservoir..

Bund Baretha is home to many waders and it is not uncommon to sight some species not found inside the park. You can walk to the old Maharaja's palace and coupled with a scenic sunset, it makes for a good day visit. Overnight at lodge

Day 06: Bharatpur – Ranthambore National Park 230 Kms. 5 hours
Morning depart Bharatpur by surface for Ranthambhore. Evening birding outside the park,Looking for Painted Sandgrouse, Chestnut-Bellied Sandgrouse Larks, Pipits and Painted Spurfowl. Overnight at lodge.


Day 07: Ranthambore National park Enjoy thrilling jeep rides in the morning and evening in search of wildlife. You sometimes chance upon these fleet - footed and silent creatures, the embodiment of grace. In the afternoon, explore the lakes on your own and visit the imposing Ranthambore. RRanthambore covers an area about 400 square kms and has beautiful scenery. Ranthambore National Park is very special and unison area where a natural present meets an historical past. This park has upto 27 tigers and has a considerable population of birds. Overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Ranthambore
Morning birding in Surwal reservoir followed by evening game drive in Ranthambhore National Park. Overnight at lodge.

Day 09: Ranthambore – Roopangrarh : By Surface 305 kms. 6-7 hours driving
Morning drive to Roopangarh, on arrival check-in at Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 11:
Full day birding in Sambar Lake.

The birds can be found in most of the saline ponds that are scattered across the bed of the lake, Flamingos are the star attraction at the lake. These beautiful tall birds flock the lake and enjoys the feast of large numbers of algae that swarm the lake. Sambar is believed to be the second most important habitat for flamingos after Rann of Kutch. Pelican is another species of birds that one can see at the lake The birds can be found in most of the saline ponds that are scattered across the bed of the lake. Birds gather in huge numbers in the centre of the reservoir, shim¬mering in the haze that plays on the waters. Pelican is another species of birds that one can see at the lake.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Roopangarh – Ajmer : By surface 70 Kms. 1-2 hours driving time
Morning birding in Sambar Lake. After lunch drive to Ajmer , visit Anna Sagar Lake in Ajmer for birding. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Ajmer – Sonkhaliya – Ajmer
Day return birding excursion to Sonkhaliya. The rare and spectacular Indian Bustard. Other birds that can be found in this area include Stoloczka's Bushchat, White Naped Tit, Indian Bustard, Desert Isabelline, Variable Wheatears and huge numbers of Greater Short-toed Larks together with the occasional Bimaculated Lark. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Ajmer – New Delhi : By Express train
Morning excursion to Pushkar. Late in the afternoon transfer to the train station to board the train for Delhi. Meeting on arrival and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: Visit Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary

Depart Delhi
Check out from the hotel. Visit Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary - was founded by very own birdman Late Dr. Salim Ali. Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is a heaven to a variety of domestic and migratory birds. The birds include Darters, Egrets Shovellers, Gadwell, Geese, Teals, Kingfishers, Lapwings, Demoiselle Cranes, Ruddy Shelducks, Pelicans, Flamingoes, Bar-headed Geese, Grey Lags, Mallards, Pochards. Local species include Plovers, Herons, Cormorants, White Ibises, Spoonbills and Painted Storks. There are about 100 species of birds. Other wildlife in the park include Blackbuck, Nilgai, Hog Deer, Sambar, Wild Dog or Dhole, Caracal, Wild Cat, Hedgehog, Mongoose, Striped Hyena, Indian Porcupine, Rattle or Honey Badger, Leopard, Wild Pig, and four horned Antelope.

After visiting Sultanpur Bird sanctuary transfer to the Airport to board the flight for onwards destination.
